Hon. John Paul Mwirigi, Igembe South Member of Parliament (MP) has emerged as Meru top-performing , with a 66 per cent approval rating, and the third-best performing MP in the country.

This is in line with an Infotrak survey.Between July and September of 2023, 58,748 people participated in the CountyTrak survey, which covered all 47 counties, 290 constituencies, and 1,450 wards. The first poll, which had 36,200 participants, was carried out in July and August of 2023.

In order to increase the sample size and ensure that every subcounty had at least 200 respondents, a second poll with 22,500 participants was carried out, according to Infotrak.
